Need Requests!!

Hey guys if you haven’t asked for something you want yet please do, as there hasn’t been any requests in a while.

    Can you do some playing card animations? Shuffling, dealing, showing hands, “casino girl” kind of animations. Possibly some “hurt” idle animations, such as when you are low in health in a Final Fantasy game.

        Awesome! I will try to find videos or images of what I am thinking about.

        Shuffling – (Doesn’t even need to be quite that intricate) (This shuffle, while more for magic, would work well too and I think would be easier to do either sitting down or standing)

        Dealing – (This video is about cheating, but has some simpler movements that might be helpful)

        Showing hands – Might be useful to have a “holding cards at ready” animation, that blends into setting them on the table, or turning the hand around to show.

        Casino girl – This was honestly pretty vague. What might be best is just having a lower arm animation of “card fanning” that could be masked onto other animations. (Hopefully you understand what I mean)

        If any of these animations could be designed so that they could be masked standing up or on one of the “Office” animations, that would be great.

        Hurt idles – (Something like this [though I’m sure you can do even better] of just holding the side. Possibly versions kneeling on one knee etc.

        I hope this isn’t too demanding, I really appreciate the work that you do!

    I have a couple requests, perhaps a grab and pull/push animation, and for the medieval pack a hanging with sword in wall, or climbing with daggers type animation.

            And a push to the left / right. And perhaps some 1hand sword with no shield animations.

            awesome! before i can get started on your requests but, i need some video references to go from. If you can find some like Adam did above, i will do them for sure! If you have troubles finding exactly what you want you can send me an email with an attached vid of you doing the action that you want. sorry for the inconvenience, its just that text descriptions can be animated a heap of different ways (which may not be what you want).

            Well actually the hanging with sword or climbing with daggers is kinda silly, but perhaps some more climbing based animations like climbing onto a ledge, hanging from a ledge, jumping from hanging or climbing, climbing around a corner, sorta like Shadow of The Colossus did.


            And for carrying and throwing things.



            and for push/pull idle,


            when he’s not pushing nor pulling, simply just standing there holding on in a ready position.

            Also as for single sword animations, you know; just a single weapon.

            cool, I see the ledge strafing at 1:32 of that vid, i will get on that. I will need a time on the vid for the Jumping from hanging as im not to sure what you want from that.

            For the carrying i will need to know the object your character is planning on carrying, as say carrying a suitcase looks different to carrying a basketball etc. and if you can find a vid of some one carrying the object you had in mind that would be awesome.

            There is a ledge grab idle already in the Jumps.fbx file. I will add left and right ledge strafes to it. I will add the jump up and down to ledge grab for you.

            Just checking with the 1 hand sword anims, did you want the guys empty hand behind him like the guy in that vid, or waving around to counter is balance during the sword swings?

            His arm behind him would work quite well for the single handed combat.

            As for carrying, I was thinking of having one of the items my character will carry will be a bomb, and he’ll hold it infront of him.

            I guess don’t worry too much about the jumping from hanging, it’s not really necessary.

            Also maybe some rope climbing animations, or ladder climbing would be awesome to have too.

            Hey, sorry for the late reply! My PSU died, motherboard fried, and everything sorta just went wrong for a few weeks and I kinda lost my project. x_x Thanks for adding the animations; I’ll be sure to check them out asap!

    Does that pack have any 2-hand weapon attacks? I see the one-hands but I’m looking for a package that has a multiple 2 handed weapon attacks (2 handed swords, axes, spears, stuff like that).

      Hi Jeff, This pack doesn’t have two handed weapons, because I cant get it to work to an acceptable level. I haven’t seen anyone that has been able to do it yet. Have a read here: but my biggest problem is i want the weapon to look good on other peoples characters. I have uploaded a free 2 handed sword swing to that forum post if you wanted to try for yourself to get it working. Let me know how you go!

        Looks like a good thread going on there, I bet you’ll see some success from those guys helping you out soon. I’m going to pick the asset up anyway because of all the other goodies and I really think you’ll have a 2-handed weapon solution soon. Thanks for being super active!

            I don’t want to reveal too much as its still very early stages, but i’m working with another company called crashtest coding on making an animal pack. I don’t want to reveal too much about it yet but its definitely going to have an edge over the other packs. But yea don’t hold your breath waiting for it as we don’t have anything game ready to show as of yet.

    I like your wizard staff/actions that would work for graffiti tagging or spray painting. I’d like to request a “shaking can” animation and a universal “reach back and grab” from belt or backpack to remove items to use then separate put away animation. that would work for a can or gun or knife or basic melee weapon. (maybe I missed one that might look like that) there’s already an animation that looks like “applying a sticker” but I’d like to see a “high five slapping” type of animation usable to apply decals on walls or whatever. Loving your animation pack, excellent work!

      Ya i can do that easy! but as obvious as the animations you want sound, i still need example videos to go from, the only reason i ask for this is because what i think something should look like and what you think something should look like are usually two different things. So if you can get those for me just like the others requestors did above, i will add them to the queue!

    Hi there! Another person on the forums asked for request but I don’t think he liked mine. I am in love with your animations, especially the feed one and the watering can. I see many useful animations for our game so figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

    We need some farming/gathering/crafting animations. To be specific, we could use the following if they are something you would like to do: bending down and picking something off the ground; reaching up and picking something out of a tree or whatever is there; sewing while sitting down (there is a Mocap one out there but it is bad), and fishing with a non-reel pole. Do any of these sound interesting?

      hey ya im good to do those animations, but i need video references to go from, just like the other guys did above. Also where on the forums are you talking about? i just checked the unity forums and i can only find one forum page i started with props animations in it.

        I am having a hard time finding videos of the animations. I did find mocaps from Carnegie that are similar so will record those and send you a link. Probably won’t get to it tonight though.

      Okay, I have some videos of Carnegie Mocaps that are pretty close. If you want the Mocaps (or numbers) let me know. They are free to use.

      I would like this without the reeling, just holding the pole with both hands.

      Reaching up to pick from tree:
      This one would be better if it were only one arm reaching up.

      Picking up from ground:
      Legs need to be less spread, closer together, so the ladies can use the animation too. :)

      This one needs to be sitting, with legs not to far apart, again for the ladies.

    I recently bought your animation pack and think it is awesome in so many ways. Even the animator setup is great and pretty much ready to use.

    I also noticed that it is missing one of the core animations I wanted so if it is okay would like to make a request. In case you would like reference, I’m including the following video:

    – Spell casting directed loop (possibly 2 variations) [02:50 in the video]
    – Spell cast omni [02:55 in the video]
    – Omni instant spell [03:05 in the video]

    I noticed that the pack has omni and directed animations for channelled and instant spells but not for casted spells. It would be great if you added those and would also make the pack more complete for people who work with RPGs!

      Hi, im super keen to add what you want to the queue, but i’m not quite sure what you want. if what you want is the charging up animation that occurs between 2:50 and 2:53 of that animation just respond to that video, but if not you should probably add me on skype (my nickname on skype is proportion) so that we can chat as to what it is exactly that you want. Sorry for the inconvenience, its just hard to understand what is needed from a text message.

        Hello again,

        I will be adding you on skype as soon as I get back! Yes it is exactly the charging animation.

        Let me explain it with my intended usage: I am making an RPG game in which player can cast spells and casting every spell takes a different amount of seconds. So a single animation for all of them is not possible.

        So we actually need a looped animation that shows up when the player is “casting” the spell and when casting (say 3 seconds) is done, it will change to another state in animator which is “ThrowSpell” (your pack already has this, Wizard1HThrow!)
