2 handed sword solution in the works!

Hi, i have just been talking to Robert Lanciault (bOb) from Unity who is also one of  the creators of mecanim about the rotation problems im having with hands on two handed sword animations. So hopefully we will have a fix soon and i will be able to create all the 2 handed sword animations i have had to unfortunately reject lately.

For anyone that is interested in the current problem I am having. I have made a small unity package that shows how an offset rotation point is needed so that a hand can rotate around and object its holding.
